Whether it’s a quick and easy answer to finishing the perimeter edge of the flat roof, sealing the EPDM rubber roofing to the wall, or just a time saving solution to getting around a pipe, National Roofing can supply the right product to get the best finish every time!

Pre-moulded Corners & Pipe Covers

To take some of the difficulties away from the “tricky areas”, National Roofing can supply EPDM pre-moulded corner pieces and pipe covers off the shelf to speed up the installation and improve the watertightness of the roof.

  
     
  90 degree internal and external corner designs  
  Small and large pipe covers to cope with most roofpipe situations  
  1.5mm thickness EPDM for strength and durability  
  Corners approximately 100mm x 100mm x 100mm  
  Small pipe covers from 20mm to 55mm  
  Large pipe covers from 60mm to 150mm  
    Supplied in black to complement the EPDM rubber roof installation  
 
Installation of the pre-moulded accessories couldn’t be easier:

  
  Lay the main body of the roof and seal in the appropriate manner for the material  
  material
Position the corner in place and mark a border around the corner piece 20mm wider than the corner piece		  
  Apply G2000 contact adhesive to the substrate area inside and up to the marked lines  
  Apply G2000 contact adhesive to the whole of the corner piece  
  Join the corner piece to the substrate, and press into position using a hard head roller to ensure a good adhesion  
  Seal around the edge of the corner piece with EPDM Lap Sealant to ensure an effective watertight seal  
 


Follow a similar procedure for the pipe covers, except as well as lap sealant it is advisable to finish off at the top of the pipe cover with a “jubilee clip” to ensure a good watertight seal.
