When it comes to installing the one piece EPDM sheeting, the best practise is to adhere it to timber roof boards. The straightforward basic instructions are to:
Lay the EPDM on the roof and fold it back in half |
Spread the adhesive on the one half of the roof |
Pull the EPDM back onto the adhesive, smoothing out with a soft broom |
Repeat the process with the other half |
Spread a contact adhesive around the perimeter edges |
Smooth out the EPDM, fold the corners and fix trims |
| |
It is always advisable to replace any rotten or damaged boards prior to laying the new roof covering. See our INSTALLATION page for the full easy to follow instructions for laying the One Piece EPDM Sheet!
