EPDM ITS USES AND ADVANTAGES
|
|
|
|
Our Rubber roofing membranes have been developed for roofing and are made from EPDM [Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer] which is
synthetic rubber (as is silicon, neoprene and butyl rubber which is used for ponds etc).
EPDM is ideal for flat roofs, balconies, dormers, green roofs, roof gardens, gutters, gullies, valleys, verandas and the self adhesive EPDM can be used as a flashing and is excellent to line box gutters and concrete gutters.
EPDM lasts much longer than mineral felt and usually costs less than fibreglass, asphalt or polycarbonate. It is more green than PVC coverings and certain other sheeting.
So whether it is a balcony, dormer, flat roofing, green roof, gully, guttering, roof garden, box gutter, concrete gutter or veranda leaking problem or is a new build DIY Roofing can solve your problem once and for all.

HOME IMPROVEMENTS ~ Surveyors look at a house and consider improvements made ~ particularly those that are maintenance free ~ double glazing, uPVC windows, doors and fascias which are costly to install and then find a flat roof covered in felt which would have been relatively low cost to cover in EPDM. A felt roof will always detract from the value of a house as it is a potential liability likely to cause damage to plaster, decorations and furniture not to mention anxiety as it is just a question of time before it fails.
